Metal 3D Printing with Welding Wire
We are developing a wire-laser system that builds metal parts from standard welding wire. The prototype is being commissioned.

Sound familiar?
Production is down. Your supplier says eight weeks lead time. The part: a standard component, 200 grams of steel. Situations like this cost SMEs money every day – because they have no in-house manufacturing alternative.
How the part is made
Welding wire
Standard wire from the MIG/MAG range is fed continuously into the process zone.
Laser
A fibre laser melts the wire exactly where material is needed.
Melt pool
Wire and the layer below fuse into a weld bead.
Layer build-up
Bead by bead, layer by layer, the part is built near net shape – then machined to final dimensions.
Expertise built into the machine
Welding is all about heat – and the experience to control it. We are building that experience into the machine, so you get a part without needing a welding course.
Temperature-guided layer build-up
The machine measures the temperature of every layer. The next one only starts when it is right – for uniform layers and reproducible parts.
A process record for every part
The process is recorded layer by layer, anomalies are flagged. So you can trace how a part was made.
Parameters that come with the machine
Our goal: choose the material, load the part, start. The process parameters come from our trials, not from your workshop.
Developed for companies like yours
Welding wire is available everywhere – no special powder, no long lead times for raw material.
Less dependent on suppliers
Build spare parts and prototypes in-house instead of waiting for your supplier.
Standard welding wire
Material from the MIG/MAG range instead of proprietary consumables – no supply bottleneck.
Suitable for single parts
No tooling, no mould, no minimum quantity.
Built from standard components
Proven off-the-shelf components instead of a closed custom build.
Who we are developing for
For businesses that repair, replace or produce metal parts – high-mix, low-volume.
Tool Making
Repairing worn tools
Contract Manufacturing
Single parts & small batches
Maintenance
Spare parts in-house
