Our Metal 3D Printer
The ADDITRIX 3D printer uses Wire Laser Metal Deposition (w-LMD) – an additive manufacturing method for metal components. The process deposits material only where the part needs it and suits new parts as well as the repair of worn components. The prototype is being commissioned.

Metal parts, layer by layer
Standard welding wire is precisely melted by a laser and built up layer by layer – similar to FDM printing, but for metal. The part is built near net shape with a machining allowance and then machined to final dimensions, instead of being milled from solid stock. Made in-house, with no minimum quantity.
The Difference at a Glance
| Conventional Machining | ADDITRIX 3D Printer | |
|---|---|---|
| Material use | Machined from solid stock | Deposited near net shape |
| Sourcing | From an external supplier | In-house |
