How it is scored
Flatness
How evenly the top of the wall ends; for steps, pillars and pyramid it is called shape accuracy and measures how closely the shape is met. Up to 450 points.
Contour
Full height up to every edge of the part, no material outside. Up to 200 points.
Heat control
Every second of welding on material that is too hot costs points. At Expert level it is called process control, and feeding wire without the laser or before the melt pool has formed also costs points. Up to 150 points.
Time
Up to 0:40 on the game clock earns full points, then fewer, none at 2:00. Up to 200 points.
